PSG & Sons' Charities
PSG & Sons' Charities was established in 1926 when the four PSG brothers partitioned their ancestral properties and dedicated a major share toward social welfare and education, symbolically creating the trust as their “fifth brother.” The trust was founded with the vision of promoting inclusive education, empowering youth through technical learning, and supporting the welfare of underprivileged communities.
Its first institution, Sarvajana School, reflected the philosophy of education “for all people,” emphasizing equality and accessibility. The PSG family’s strong belief in education as a catalyst for societal progress significantly contributed to transforming Coimbatore into a major educational and industrial center in India.
Today, PSG & Sons' Charities supports more than 30 educational institutions serving over 40,000 students, offering educational opportunities from kindergarten to higher education.
